Bringing the Last Jacobite Rising to Life
Raised at the Royal Palace of Holyroodhouse in September 2007, Alan Breck's Regiment was originally founded as a living history society to support the work and activities of the Battle of Prestonpans 1745 Heritage Trust.
The Regiment has since grown and matured, fighting alongside some of the country's finest re-enactment societies at a range of exciting events across Scotland.
We tell the story of the '45 through soldiers of both armies, for King James or King George, and we pride ourselves on the energy and enthusiasm of our membership.
